What Will Be Taught?
Students will learn the basics of healthy eating, how different foods impact brain and body health, smart snacking choices, the importance of hydration, and meal planning. They will also gain practical cooking skills with simple, plant-based recipes.

How is Your Class Structured?
The class is structured over five weeks, with each week focusing on a specific topic. Each session includes a hands-on recipe demonstration, an educational lesson, and a practical activity such as a grocery store tour.

How Will The Material Be Taught?
The class will be taught through a combination of interactive lectures, video demonstrations, and practical activities. Each week will include a step-by-step recipe video, a lesson on the weekly topic, and opportunities for discussion and questions.

What Is My Teaching Style?
My teaching style is engaging and interactive, aiming to make learning fun and relatable. I use a mix of visual aids, practical demonstrations, and real-life examples to help students understand and apply what they learn.

How Much Will Learners Get to Interact With Me?

Through an online classroom community where they can share their creations and tips. This structure ensures a dynamic and supportive learning environment, encouraging active participation and collaboration.

Recipe: Simple Green Smoothie

Ingredients: Spinach, banana, oat milk, flax seeds, and frozen mango.

Brain-Boosting Foods
 How Food Affects Your Brain

Topics Covered: Connection between nutrition and brain function, foods that enhance cognitive function.

Recipe: Berry Yogurt Bowl

Ingredients: Coconut yogurt, mixed berries, granola, and a drizzle of maple syrup.

Grocery Store Tour and Healthy Snacking
 Activity: Grocery Store Tour

Objective: Learn how to select healthy items, read labels, and make better food choices.
Focus Areas: Fresh produce, whole grains, and healthier snack options.
Lesson: Smart Snacking Choices

Topics Covered: Identifying healthy snacks, understanding food labels, avoiding processed foods, and choosing nutrient-dense options.

Recipe: Veggie Sticks with Hummus
Ingredients: Carrot sticks, cucumber sticks, bell pepper slices, and hummus.

Nutrition and Mood
 Recipe: Strawberry Oatmeal

Ingredients: Oats, almond milk, sliced strawberries, banana, and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Instructions: Cook oats in almond milk and top with strawberries, banana slices, and cinnamon.

Topics Covered: How food influences energy levels and mood, the role of complex carbs and healthy fats.
