Culture Bites is an 18-lesson course that explores the intersection of nutrition, food, and heritage for teens. Students will delve into the world of food and culture, learning about various cuisines, cultural traditions, and historical contexts that shape our diets. Through hands-on activities, discussions, and reflections, students will develop a deeper appreciation for the diversity of food cultures and an understanding of the impact of nutrition on their own health and well-being.

We have have taught courses on food culture and identity, and have written extensively on the topic of food and culture.

By the end of this class, students will have gained a deeper understanding of the complex relationships between food, culture, and identity, and will have developed a greater appreciation for the diversity of food traditions and practices around the world.
