A journal creates a safe place to be yourself; to feel, think, observe, and dream. Once your thoughts move from your mind to your paper, a sense of freedom is often felt. This class will begin with attendance and introductions of all enrolled students. We will first cover basic rules to keep our class feeling like a safe, relaxing space to talk and meditate. Ms. Amber is a certified, advanced children's yoga teacher for ages 2-18. In addition, Ms. Amber is also a 500hr registered yoga teacher (RYT) and a Yoga Alliance Member. Prior to teaching yoga to children, Ms. Amber worked as a physical therapist assistant helping children with special needs for over 15 years in the local school systems. She continually strives to learn all she can to help children reach their fullest potential.
-Please have a journal or a piece of paper with pen/ pencil ready for class. -A quiet space, away from interruption and distractions. -Please leave your cell phone in another room or on silent (to decrease distraction).
