Is your child struggling to maintain focus for extended periods? 
Do they often feel overwhelmed by the daily barrage of stimuli? If so, this ongoing class offers the perfect solution, empowering children to understand their emotions and learn invaluable mindfulness techniques for everyday life.

As a mindfulness coach with a decade of experience supporting kids and teens, I specialize in guiding kids through a variety of mindfulness techniques designed to boost their focus, strengthen self-regulation, cultivate empathy, and navigate challenging situations with confidence. Together, we’ll work on empowering you to respond thoughtfully rather than react impulsively, helping you build skills for lifelong emotional resilience and self-awareness.

Over the years of teaching mindfulness to students, I have witnessed profound transformations in children. Through mindfulness, they develop the ability to pause, reflect, and respond thoughtfully.

Get ready to embark on a fun and transformative journey where you will learn a wide range of mindfulness practices specifically designed for your age group. Students will learn techniques to reduce stress and anxiety in their lives, They learn to calm themselves down when they are encountering any strong emotions and respond to any situation mindfully. 

In this class, we will explore mindful body, breathing, listening, movements, noticing our emotions and feelings, and learn how to pay attention better, become more focused, and live in the present. They will learn different breathing exercises to deepen their understanding of mindfulness, connect with their emotions, and learn how to respond wisely rather than react impulsively in any situation.

Our class incorporates interactive and engaging tools, including a variety of mindful game cards and over 20 different breathing exercises, to help you grasp the concept of mindfulness and develop a profound awareness of your inner world. By learning to calm yourself when faced with strong emotions, you will gain invaluable skills in self-regulation. Additionally, you learn kindness and compassion towards yourself and your friends, nurturing a supportive and caring community.

Mindfulness practices cultivate a learning-ready mindset, teaching children to focus their attention effectively. They'll develop enhanced concentration, emotional management skills, and the ability to find calm amidst challenges.

No prior knowledge is necessary to embark on this mindfulness journey. 
At the end of each session, you will be presented with a challenge for the week. This challenge encourages you to put into practice what you have learned and observe the impact of mindfulness in your daily life. During subsequent sessions, you will have the opportunity to share your experiences and insights with the group, fostering a sense of camaraderie and growth.

學習目標

Students will learn to increase their focus and concentration. They will learn to be kinder to themselves and to each other.
They will learn to take a pause and calm themselves down when they are sad, angry, frustrated, or have any strong emotions.
They will learn the techniques to manage their emotions better and build up the space to respond wisely instead of reacting blindly.

Why me: 
I am a long time mindfulness practitioner. I practice mindfulness meditation for over 25 years now and as I see how this practice changed my life and the life of my students for better, I have committed myself to pass it on to everyone, especially our kids and teens.
I have been teaching Mindfulness to kids, teens, and adults for over 5 years now and happy to help them understand themselves better and live in the present moment, become more focus and live at peace.
I enjoy sharing my passion through teaching mindfulness techniques to my students; helping them to learn this profound mind training practices, which brings clarity and awareness to their minds.
I truly believe that Mindfulness practices allow for greater concentration, productivity, resiliency, self-management, and sense of happiness.
