Beginner Level
>>Class layout: >>Hello’s & Introduction- 5 mins >>Yoga Stretch & Relaxing Zen Yoga Flow- 10 mins - let’s stretch out some tension and clear our minds with some calming yoga poses all geared towards relaxation and feeling Zen. >>Positive Affirmation Mindful Mandala colouring- 30 mins (print your favourite Positive affirmation Mandala from the attached files provided) >>Journal prompt- Doodle a visual Journal response to the prompt/or write your response to the prompt- 10 mins >>Mindful Mandala Sharing (if students want to share) - Namastes🫶🏻 (Good-Byes)- The Light In Me Honours The Light In You! - 5mins Let’s Relax,Rest, & Reset our minds while being mindful & focusing on the present moment with some Mindful Mandalas & Positive Affirmations to set a positive tone for our day. We will be doing a Relaxing Zen Yoga Flow & Stretch at the beginning of class that is focused on feeling calm, relaxed, & zen. We will be moving mindfully to remind ourselves to listen to our bodies as we move through the poses. Knowing what we are capable of and to adjust our yoga poses if necessary to meet each individuals needs or skill sets, by being Mindful of our limits. (All poses are geared towards beginner friendly Yoga). Mindful Mandalas is a class geared towards calming the mind and being zen. As we focus on our Positive Affirmation Mindful Mandala colouring we can work through our thoughts and relax our minds. Let’s colour some Positive Affirmations & Mandalas while we take a pause and be present. Mindful mandalas, Zen doodles, Yoga Doodles, or yoga with a pen are all forms of meditation & are a beneficial self care practice. Just like doing physical yoga poses these practices are very beneficial for your mind and body. Regulating the nervous system and being present in the moment to help reduce stress and anxiety for more balance in one’s life. We will wrap up the class with some Journalling - A journal Prompt idea will be provided- Learner can respond to the Journal prompt with a Doodle (Visual response) or by writing a response if they would prefer. Any sort of art form to express their response that best suits them is encouraged! Examples Drawing, doodling, zen-doodles, writing, making up a quote (in relation to the prompt), poetry (in relation to the prompt), positive affirmations, emojis (doodle-expressions). Sharing of Mindful Mandalas - (if learners would like to share) and then we will wrap up the class with our Goodbyes (Namastes) “Namaste” definition- The light in me honours the light in you! It is a way of showing gratitude to each other. (Not required, goodbye will do)

Pre-Requisites
No experience necessary as this class is suitable for beginners. This class is intended to be fun, positive and interactive!
We will be moving mindfully throughout each Yoga pose to take care/ precautions to listen to our bodies abilities.
Teacher expertise and credentials
I Teach Yoga! I am registered with Yoga Alliance holding a RYTT 500 (Registered Yoga Teacher Training) & RCYTT 95 (Registered Children's Yoga Teacher Training). I love to continue to learn as well and am always advancing My Yoga skills. I am also certified as a Mindfulness Coach! I believe learning should be fun! I’m excited to offer a wide range of themed Yoga classes that give opportunities to learn Yoga Asanas (postures/poses) well also honing in on self care and mindfulness. Yoga is a great tool to help with anxiety and help bring peacefulness and self love/ self care into ones life.
