Beginner - Intermediate Level
Mindful Zen doodles (Happy Doodles, Yoga Doodles, or yoga with a pen), Zendalas (Zen-Doodled Mandalas), (ZIA’s) Zen-Doodle Inspired Art, Mandalas (Mandala Colouring), Origami, Journaling, & Positive Affirmations are forms of Mindfulness and are all beneficial self care practice. Just like doing physical yoga poses these practices are very beneficial for your mind and body. Regulating the nervous system and being present in the moment to help reduce stress and anxiety for more balance in one’s life.

  In this Self Paced Class we will be using silhouette outlines of the Lotus flower to create a Zen-Doodle Inspired Art (ZIA). ZIA’s are doodles that are in any shape such as a tree, butterfly, flower etc. that has multiple different doodled sections and patterns within the art piece. This is a very relaxing practice that helps calm the mind! Enjoy making Oodles of Doodles, & let your creativity flow!

  Follow along Step by Strep as we enjoy the mindful practice of Origami and fold a Lotus Flower. We will talk about the significance of what the lotus flower has to achieve to bloom!

  Origami is a peaceful & Mindful art that allows one to gaze inwards, as we fold we can also sort through our thoughts and be present in the moment. Letting go of the misconception of perfectionism, and embracing the beauty within the journey.

  Journalling: Blossoming Lotus Flower Bullet Journal Growth Mindset Prompt & Growth Mindset Inspiration. Be Inspired by the Journey of the Lotus Flower & Let inspiration strike as you open your mind to a new perspective inspired by the Lotus Flowers Journey.

The repetitive subtle movements of colouring the mandala enable you to be present in the present moment (Mindfulness). The mind can become free from empty thoughts, and create ease to organize negative thoughts, stress, anxiety, worries, & inner chaos calm down and melt away. 

Positive affirmations help us take care of our minds! Daily positive affirmations help you believe in yourself and what you're capable of achieving. Positive affirmations act as gentle reminders to reinforce a positive self-image and an optimistic outlook toward life. They can remind you of your strength, capability, and reiterate believing in your self to build self-worth. They have the power to change the perspective (the way you see a situation) to provide better coping mechanisms (life skills) within tough situations.

I Teach Yoga! I am registered with Yoga Alliance holding a RYTT 500 (Registered Yoga Teacher Training) & RCYTT 95 (Registered Children's Yoga Teacher Training). I love to continue to learn as well and am always advancing My Yoga skills. I am also certified as a Mindfulness Coach!  I believe learning should be fun! I’m excited to offer a wide range of themed Yoga classes that give opportunities to learn Yoga Asanas (postures/poses) well also honing in on self care and mindfulness.
