Peaceful Heart Mindfulness Meditation - Releasing Stress & Anxiety - One on One

Learner practices the Peaceful/Loving Heart meditation to return to an inner center that feels welcoming, warm, granting a break to create space for self-care, self-love, cultivating relaxation & wellbeing at all levels.

1 hour per week. Learner is encouraged to continue with micro practices between classes to continue developing the discipline of meditation.

Class Experience

Important Notes:  
All of my classes are inclusive.   
Classes are suitable for the neurodiverse child. 
CEFR:  all levels.
Class can be taught in Spanish
Teacher reserves the right to modify class program to meet learner's needs.  For learners who need to re-center before meditation, some gentle Yoga stretches and breathing exercises may be introduced to bring the learner to a state more conducive for the meditation experience.  

This Class meets once, and may be repeated as desired until Learner develops and internalizes his/her own meditation practices known to release stress at all levels, reduce anxiety and cultivate well-being at multiple levels. Each class begins with a welcome for the student, a light physical stretch (while sitting on the chair) to soothe the body and mind into being still, a grounding practice through visualizations and breath work, the meditation, and a closing with reflections.     
The class is taught in an inclusive way, interactive,  and in a serene, caring environment.  Student will have the opportunity to ask questions following each class experience and receive further clarifications and/or guidance as needed for home practices. 
There is no previous requirement for the series.

Supply List
Learner will require a quiet space without distractions, and a comfortable place where to meditate, like a mat, a meditation cushion or simply a comfortable chair.

Teacher grew up in Japan where she began becoming familiar with the stillness of Zen, is currently a college level professor of Yoga, Humanities & Meditation.  She is a well versed Meditator in both yogic and buddhist meditation techniques, and loves to share these peaceful practices with students of all ages via Outschool, the college, and her private classes.
