Join us on a transformative journey where you will develop essential coping skills and cultivate a deep sense of self-awareness, social awareness, & positive mindset. As a mindfulness coach with a decade of experience supporting kids and teens, I specialize in guiding teens through a variety of mindfulness techniques designed to boost their focus, strengthen self-regulation, cultivate calm & clarity, and navigate challenging situations with confidence. Together, we’ll work on empowering you to respond thoughtfully rather than react impulsively, helping you to reduce stress and overwhelm, building confidence, developing focus, boosting self-esteem and emotional resilience. Throughout the sessions, you will be encouraged to incorporate these techniques into your daily routine, fostering a lasting and meaningful mindfulness practice. The comprehensive instruction and reflection opportunities provide a solid foundation for lifelong growth and personal development. Each session begins with a soothing "mindful moment," setting the tone for an immersive experience. Following that, I engage in open discussions, allowing you to share your unique mindfulness experiences with fellow participants. Next, we learn various mindfulness techniques each week, empowering you to develop skills such as mindful listening, breathing, seeing, and eating. Additionally, you will engage in activities that promote body awareness, body scan, mindfulness of thoughts, mindful movements, mindfulness of emotions, naming thoughts and emotions, mindful movements & mindful walking. Furthermore, we embrace the power of heartfulness, compassion, self-compassion, gratitude, and generosity, nurturing qualities that foster genuine connection and personal growth. By cultivating non-judgmental awareness of your present-moment experiences, you will gain invaluable tools to navigate your own emotions, becoming adept at self-regulation and understanding your role within a group dynamic. Through this journey, you will develop social awareness, sharpen your relationship skills, and make mindful decisions that positively impact your life and those around you. Join us in this empowering class as we embark on a path of self-awareness, personal growth, and the pursuit of mindful living.
Learning Goals
