Important Notes: All of my classes are inclusive. Classes are suitable for the neurodiverse child. CEFR: all levels. Teacher reserves the right to modify class program to meet learner's needs. For learners who are hyperactive, gentle chair yoga poses may be introduced, as well as some breathing exercises, to bring the learner to a state more conducive for the meditation experience. This Class meets once a week for 12 consecutive weeks to help learner understand and establish a basic mindful meditation practice for stress management, self awareness and regulation leading to the experience of harmony, self-love and inner peace. Student will learn how to meditate on the heart space to cultivate this inner stillness and tranquility. These skills will have beneficial applications for life. The class is taught in an inclusive way, interactive, and in a serene environment. Each class is structured as follows: It begins with a welcome for the student, a gentle seated stretch (from the chair), a mindful breathing exercise, followed then by a peaceful heart meditation. The meditation session will end with a self-care affirmation to promote inner peace. Student will then have the opportunity to ask questions following each class experience. Future meditations will be individualized based on teacher's expertise and learner's feedback. Class size is 1:1 so that the student will have a private space and time for personal coaching, questions or clarifications needed. There is no previous requirement for the series. The 12-week session may be continuously repeated to refine meditation skills and grant a moment in the learner's life when self-care and serenity are cultivated, and the skills are refined and integrated into daily mindful living. For these reasons, for a sense of engagement and for gauging Learner's interest level and to be able to adjust accordingly, I require open mics and video in my classes.
