I incorporate a structured, step-by-step approach to instructions, visual aids, and provide a calm teaching environment. Each session includes interactive elements to keep students engaged and frequent check-ins for understanding.
Parental Guidance
During our cooking class, please be aware that using knives to cut ingredients may require parental supervision for younger children. Mixing and stirring should be done on a stable surface to prevent spills. Assistance may also be needed when handling items.
Please note potential allergens in our recipes. Substitutes can be used as needed. If you have concerns or need help with ingredient substitutions, please contact me.

Pre-Requisites
Basic kitchen safety awareness and the ability to follow instructions are beneficial. This class is accessible to intermediate and advanced skill levels.

As an educator currently teaching virtual school, I have 20 years experience working with children, including those with unique learning needs such as ADHD, Dyslexia, and ASD.
