We will learn each component including cardio-respiratory endurance, muscular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility and body composition. In addition to the content, students will have lots of opportunities for movement breaks. W H Y S E L F - P A C E D ? ✅ student and family has the freedom to take part in lessons on their own time-frame that works for their schedule ✅ student has the flexibility to move through lessons at their own pace, pausing or re-watching lessons if needed D E S C R I P T I O N 🌟 Join us for a fun and engaging self-paced course where students will learn all about the components of fitness and how important each are in leading a healthy life. 🚨NOTE: All lessons are pre-recorded with no live sessions. I have broken down this course into tiny, digestible bites for young learners so they feel confident in their new learning each week. By the end of this course, students will know each component of fitness and how to apply each component to their personal lives. P L E A S E N O T E : 👟I recommend your child be dressed for physical activity when partaking in movement breaks. 💧Having a water bottle handy would also be beneficial 💪🏻No previous experience or learning required for this course I am so excited to get to know your student and help them learn about their muscular system! Join me for a six-week, self-paced engaging and fun course for the beginner learner where we will learn the components of fitness. Students will learn how to apply these components of fitness to their lives to lead a fit and healthy lifestyle. In addition to the content, students will have lots of opportunities for movement breaks.
🚨 NOTE: Students have the option to partake in brain break/exercise videos. Nothing is needed except space to move, a water bottle and a smile!

No prerequisites or requirements needed for this beginning level course on health and fitness.

Washington Teaching Certificate in Health/PE
I am a Health and Fitness specialist, who has taught nearly twenty years at the elementary levels. I genuinely love working with students and helping them learn about their own health, fitness and well-being. I have a degree in education with a masters in physical education.
