Parental Guidance
Parental Guidance & Support
I've designed this course to be self-paced and kid-friendly, but your encouragement and involvement can make a big difference! Here’s how you can support your child throughout the 6-week journey:
1. Create a Routine
Set aside a consistent time each week for your child to complete their lesson and movement activities. This helps build healthy habits and keeps them engaged!
2. Celebrate Effort, Not Just Results
Cheer them on for trying new movements, learning new terms, or just showing up! Confidence grows through encouragement.
3. Join In When You Can
Some activities are more fun together! Try a stretch, short workout, or discussion with your child—it’s a great bonding opportunity.
4. Talk About What They’re Learning
Ask questions like:
“What was your favorite part of this week’s lesson?”
“Which fitness component do you think you use the most?”
“How did your body feel after the movement challenge?”
5. Provide a Safe Space to Move
Make sure your child has a little open space to move around safely. No fancy equipment needed—just room to stretch, jump, and have fun.
6. Model Healthy Habits
When kids see their grown-ups valuing health and movement, they’re more likely to make it part of their own routine!
Pre-Requisites
