Students will be asked to bring some news about their a sport or their favorite team each week to discuss.Class Experience
This course is focused on socialization and the practice of conversational English. I will have topics or highlights from the week in the world of sports that we can begin to discuss and each class will develop on it's own depending on the interests of those in that particular class. Class Time Structure: Introductions Review of funny clips from the week then time given for any student to respond Major Headlines from most major sports then time for each student to discuss one sports news from that week Time for review and discussion Preview of the next week's events and will make prediction picks for major games or events.
Learning Goals
My hope is that we can build a community that can discuss ideas and differing opinions in a non-combative way and learn to keep an open mind through something that we all love.

I have always enjoyed sports. I have played football, soccer, baseball, and golf on teams. I played college baseball and understand the dedication of time and effort to get to a high level. This leads me to appreciate all sports and athletes that I love to discuss.
