Our fitness and weight training class meets once a week for a focused 45-minute session that combines teaching and active fitness. Each class begins with a quick discussion on a fitness principle followed by a workout that incorporates that day’s lesson. This structure ensures that students not only learn about fitness but also apply their knowledge immediately in a practical, hands-on way.

We cover everything from cardiovascular health to strength training, emphasizing safe practices and proper form to prevent injuries. Our teaching style is upbeat and supportive, with instructors who specialize in youth fitness, ensuring that each student feels motivated and engaged.

Week 1: "Introduction to Integrated Fitness Training"

Learn the fundamentals of an integrated fitness approach that combines cardio, endurance, core, and strength training. Understand the benefits and how these elements work together to improve overall health.

Week 2: "Cardio and Endurance Fundamentals"

Other Details

Parental Guidance
This course involves physical activity and some use of weight training equipment, which will be closely supervised. We ensure all safety measures are in place, but it's important for parents to ensure that their child is dressed appropriately for exercise (e.g., proper footwear and comfortable clothing) and that they bring water to each session. Also, parents should supervise their children during the workout.

I hold my Master's in Secondary Education with an emphasis in fitness, life sciences and health.
I received my B.S. in Athletic Training from Whitworth University. I completed 1,250 clinical hours in physical therapy clinics, collegiate, semi-professional and high school athletic training rooms, emergency rooms and urgent cares.
