Students will be assessed through multiple question/feedback throughout the lesson. Students will be given feedback at the end of class as well. Students will be challenged to do better than they did in the previous class to display improvement.Class Experience
These carefully designed group classes will test your limits and help you exceed your own expectations. Each portion of these classes are designed to sculpt every part of your body, as well as increase stamina and improve strength. These classes will allow you to reach your fitness goals fast without spending hours in the gym. These full body fitness classes are designed workouts for muscle growth and strength regardless of your training experience. They not only enable you to optimise your training frequency and recovery throughout the week but are also time efficient and in this case requiring only 2 workouts per week. NOTE* If you would like one on one training please send me a private message. Class Breakdown: Each session will focus on varies exercises enabling a full body workout 30 minutes Full Body Interval Training: 3 rounds Each (40 seconds on and 20 seconds rest) Complete Full Body Warm Up 5-7 minutes Upper Body (3 rounds) 12 minutes • Standard Push up • In and Out Push ups • Dips (Triceps) • High Plank to Low Plank • Half Plank Hold Rest for water break 1-2 minutes Lower Body ( 3 rounds) 12 minutes • Regular or Atomic Burpees • Jump squats • Pulse Lunges • Squat 4 punches to High Knees 4 Punches • Jump Tucks Rest for water break 1-2 minutes Abs and Core (1 round) 10 minutes • Mountain climbers • Plank • Star Crunches • Feet 6 inches • High Plank Knee to Opposite Elbow Closing comments 5 minutes • Feedback • Encouragement/Motivation • Questions Exercises can vary based on class, although this is a great outline of what to expect in class for each body part. Each fundamental exercise in class will entail detailed instruction and demonstration from Coach Ashton. After the demonstration the students will be asked to complete the task as the teacher vocally corrects, encourages, and guides. The class will be very intimate and engaging. Students will get the opportunity towards the end of class to ask me any questions about what was taught during the session and I will give feedback and tips. No prior experience is needed, just your passion, hard-work, dedication, and willingness to learn. This will give you the results you are looking for!
Learning Goals
- Students who are participating can improve their full body fitness and overall cardio. Teaching the importance of cardio and its relevance to sports performance.
- Students will learn that fitness in general can keep them active, healthy and happy.
- Students will learn how important warm up exercises and stretching is important to recovery and reducing muscle soreness.
- I'll also be sharing how I train for my professional games which is great for the young sports athletes. (great for cardiovascular, endurance and strength).
- Inside look how a NCAA University Athlete trains
- Overall, how to push through when things get tough, which essentially will be a life skill that can be translated in any area in our lives.
- What it takes to be a true professional.

I am a professional basketball player and a certified sports coach. I have been a basketball coach and fitness trainer for ages 7-18 for boys and girls from all around the world throughout the past 10+ years. I have experience working with different populations including general individuals, endurance athletes, strength athletes, basketball athletes, and physique athletes.
I have a Bachelor Degree in Psychology - with a concentration in human behaviours
I have a PGC in Sports Coaching at the Masters Level from Worcester University in the UK
With my experience as a former Division 1 NCAA Basketball Athlete (in the U.S.) and my current
Professional Basketball career (played/lived in France Portugal,England,Canada, and China) full body fitness has become a part of my life style. Through my education and career, I have developed an understanding of how to teach lifestyle and behaviour change through evidence-based methods that promote the adoption of exercise and full body fitness. These exercises are inspired by my experiences with NCAA Division 1 programs and European professional sports.
My philosophy has always been focused on the fundamentals. A win for me is seeing the student’s progression from where they began. Each student is unique in their own way and it is my job to identify their special gift and help bring it out of them.
