Class Experience

In this ongoing course, learners will develop their maths skills. This course is part of a six year primary maths course that takes a problem-solving approach to teaching young learners the skills they need to become confident mathematicians.

This course contains a greater focus on the use of manipulatives in the classroom, pictorial and abstract representations to promote deeper learning, language support to help EAL students develop fluency in mathematical language.

Week of 29/4/24 - Averages and percentages

Week of 13/5/24 - Measurement and Geometry in Sports 
Week of 20/5/24 - Physics and Kinematics in Sports
Week of 27/5/24 -  Biomechanics and Sports Performance
Week of 3/6/24 - Sports Strategy and Game Theory
Week of 10/6/24 -  Sports Analytics and Performance Metrics
Week of 17/6/24 - Mathematical Models in Sports Prediction
