Class Experience
We will begin with a proper Stretch Routine and teach you what muscles are being stretched. We will then do a warmup for endurance, balance, agility. We will also do a different fun activity each week, such as Hula Hoop, Jump Rope, some Yoga. Equipment for this class is not required. The workout portion can be done without equipment. You will learn all about keeping your body and life style physically fit to be healthier, more energetic, a better student (Sound Body, Sound Mind) Workouts are active drills. Students participate in different and fun Activities each week.
My Coaching and teaching Physical Education for the past 45 years has allowed me to develop lessons I use in my classes and coaching career. I love teaching young people a positive life style.
No homework will be required for this class. However we meet once a week but you can do these Stretch/Workouts on your own during the week.
Suggested not required for PE Class: Jump rope/Hula Hoop Workout clothes/Athletic shoes Water bottle/Towel
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I will observe your progression through class time and comment on your progression.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parents should know students will work up a sweat and thirst during stretch/workouts. Open space should be available Towel and Water Bottle should be available.
Some web sites will be recommended for students to check outside of class time.
