課堂經歷

Join an ongoing class to promote each student socio-emotional wellbeing, calmness and creativity. Students will be led through the sound of a drum or a rattle and guided visualizations to enhance focus and relaxation within. We will create a calm point of focus within to center our experiences of our world. Each class students will have the opportunity to make a drawing of their visualizations. 

What we will do in each class:
- Guided visualization/ drum or rattle meditation
- Draw your meditation experience
- Share your inner experience in class


Students are encouraged to share their inner experiences with the group as they learn to meditate and calm their thoughts and mind. 

Meditation is a practice; we intend to encourage a heightened state of awareness and focus attention. Meditation is also a technique that has shown to have a wide number of benefits on psychological well-being. After meditation we can feel happier and balanced because it activates the joy hormones in our bodies.

Meditation can help us to quiet our minds and have new perspectives to problems or situations. We can feel more at peace and make better decisions for our school work and have more positive interactions with others.
