Want to manage stress and take control of your emotions, but don't want to do it with a group class? In these curriculum-based, personalized, 1-on-1 sessions, you’ll dive into how your brain works and why it sometimes overreacts. You’ll learn mindfulness techniques to help you stay calm, focused, and in control. What You'll Learn: -Understand how the brain works and why it reacts to stress. -Stay present using mindful anchors like breath, sound, and body awareness. -Discover how mindfulness helps manage stress and overwhelming feelings. -Cultivate gratitude and heartfulness to develop a positive mindset. -Build self-awareness, giving you more control over your reactions. Session Structure: Each session will begin with a short lesson and discussion on a mindfulness topic (like paying attention, using anchors, or how stress affects the brain). Then, we’ll dive into a guided mindfulness practice to help you stay grounded. We’ll wrap up with reflection and journaling to reinforce the session’s focus. Teaching Style: I create a fun, welcoming environment where you feel heard and supported. Each session is trauma-informed, energetic, and compassionate. We’ll work together to make learning active and engaging, tailoring each session to your needs and goals. Interaction: These sessions are fully interactive and customized for you. We’ll talk openly about mindfulness concepts, practice techniques together, and reflect on what works best for you. These sessions are designed to fit your life and experiences, giving you practical skills to manage stress and stay in control, no matter what challenges come your way.

Students will be able to explain how the brain reacts to stress and why it sometimes tries to protect us unnecessarily.
Students will be able to identify how mindfulness can help regulate emotional responses.
