Description

Class Experience

Students will learn pre-algebra and geometry. They will be asked to take notes on topics and problems we are discussing. We will go over math problems together as a class and individually. Students will be provided handouts after each class and assigned homework. The last 5 minutes of class will be any questions/concerns. We will also go over any questions students had with their homework the beginning of each class.

Pre-Algebra Topics:
Class #1: Integers & Fractions (adding, subtracting,...

Students will learn how to solve Pre-algebra and Geometry.

I have a bachelors degree in science and arts. I am exceptional in math and advanced to Calculus in school. I have years of experience teaching and tutoring math.

There will be homework sheets provided after each class. There will also be test, warm-ups, and reviews. Homework will take about 1-2 hours per week.

Students will need a notebook, calculator, and a protractor.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Khan Academy

Learner progress is assessed by participation in class, homework, and from test.

55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.

This class also used Khan Academy as an external resource. This is a free learning website where you can create a free account, watch videos, take quizzes/test. It is a very useful tool to have and use when we are inside and outside of class.

All handouts are provided at no cost.
