This is an ongoing class that will following the Pre-Algebra Curriculum as is outlined through out a regular Pre-Algebra course.

US Grade 6 - 9
Experience: I have a BS in Mathematics and a Masters in Education. I have taught Basic Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra( Regular and Honors), Geometry(Regular and Honors) and Pre-Calculus. Pre-Algebra: This is an ongoing class for students who are at the math 8 or pre-algebra level and we will meet twice a week which involves student interacting with the teacher and complete one or two weekly assignments/assessments. Students will improve their understanding of math concepts needed to help them be successful in Geometry and Algebra 1
Homework Offered
Students will be assigned assignments weekly and assessments will be assigned after each unit. Homework and assessments will require 1 to 2 hours per week.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Students will be assessed through given assessment assignments given periodicallyGrades Offered
Students will need paper or notebook for notes, pencil or pen, calculator. I will be sending you a code to join ck-12 as well. This is where I will be doing some of the assessments. In addition, you will be needing a printer to print out some of the notes or assignments.
We will be using ck-12.org for assessments. Students will be given an invite for this class.
