In these 1-on-1 leadership development sessions, learners will have the opportunity to explore a leadership topic of their interest or choice. They will engage with topics through mini-lectures, interactive activities, discussions, and video clips. These sessions use a student-led approach that empowers teens to take an active role in their own personal growth and leadership journey. The topics learners can choose from include, but are not limited to: *Building Self-Confidence *Effective Communication *Goal Setting and Achievement *Time Management and Prioritization *Decision-Making and Problem-Solving *Teamwork and Collaboration *Conflict Resolution *Leadership Styles and Strengths *Public Speaking and Presentation Skills *Empathy and Active Listening *Resilience and Adaptability *Overcoming Challenges and Setbacks *Balancing School, Life, and Leadership Roles *Mindset for Success *Leading with Integrity and Accountability As the facilitator, I will act as a guide and mentor, providing expertise, support, resources, and engaging activities to help teens understand the importance of developing strong leadership skills. Learners will be encouraged to develop self-awareness about their strengths and areas for growth, and to explore strategies for making meaningful, lasting changes to their leadership approach and mindset. Note: These sessions are not designed to provide personalized psychological or mental health advice. They are focused on leadership skill-building and are based on research and best practices. For specific mental health or well-being concerns, please consult with your teen’s physician or a qualified mental health professional.
Learning Goals
Students will improve leadership skills by exploring strategies to help them prepare for leadership roles and understand the importance of developing strong leadership skills.
