NutriTeen: The Science Behind Smart Eating is an engaging, one-week class designed specifically for teenagers, focusing on the fundamentals of balanced nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices. Through interactive activities and science-based learning, teens will discover how diet impacts their physical and mental well-being. This class equips them with practical tips for meal planning, reading food labels, and making smart eating choices on-the-go. During this course, learners will be able to: -Explain the importance of nutrition in teen development. -Describe the basics of nutrition and key nutrients for teens. -Overcome peer pressure and unhealthy influences. -Develop a positive relationship with food. Learners will have the opportunity to explore these topics through mini-lectures, interactive games, discussions, and/or video clips.
