Fitness coaching and personal training for children and teens provide individualized support to help them improve their strength, fitness, and overall health. These sessions include customized workout plans, fun activities, assessments to understand each individual's fitness needs, involvement of families, and practical strategies to make exercise a regular part of their lives.

As a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach with experience in behavior change and working with adolescents and teens as a certified educator, I am dedicated on promoting a positive body image at any size and fitness level. I will provide comprehensive support for young individuals' holistic well-being. Through personalized fitness plans, motivational coaching, and empowering strategies, I aim to guide learners in developing lifelong healthy habits for optimal health and vitality.

The first session will include individual assessments to evaluate each learner's fitness level, exercise habits, and any specific concerns or challenges related to their physical fitness goals. This assessment will help tailor personalized workout plans to suit each learner's needs and abilities.

After the initial session, subsequent individualized 1:1 session may include, but not limited to one or more of the following and based on the learner's interest, choice and/or fitness goals:

1. Assessments to assess each learner's current fitness levels, exercise habits, and any specific concerns or challenges related to their physical health and fitness goals.

2. Personalized workout plans based on the assessment and designed for the individual needs, abilities, and goals of the learner. These plans may include a variety of exercises, such as strength training, cardiovascular activities, flexibility exercises, and functional movements.

3. Instruction and guidance on proper exercise techniques, safety precautions, and the importance of warm-up and cool-down routines. They ensure that children and teens perform exercises with correct form to minimize the risk of injury.

4. Motivation and support to encourage learners to stay active and committed to their fitness goals. I will provide positive reinforcement, praise progress, and offer support during challenging workouts or setbacks.

5. Education about the benefits of regular physical activity, including improved strength, endurance, flexibility, coordination, and overall health. They also discuss the importance of nutrition, hydration, and rest for optimal performance and recovery.

Coaching Style: These sessions use a student-led approach which involves empowering the learner to take active role in their own health and well-being journey. As the coach, I will act as a guide and facilitator, providing expertise, support, resources to help the student achieve their goals. The learner will be encouraged to take ownership of their dietary choices, develop self-awareness about their eating habits, and explore strategies for making sustainable changes to their fitness, diet, and lifestyle.
