In this 4 week fitness and exercise class, students will experience energetic, fun exercise classes filled with appropriately challenged workouts as they improve on various fitness skills like strength, endurance, coordination, balance and more!

In this 4 week course, students will jump into a fun, engaging fitness class that will serve as a great mid-day break for parents! Parents will receive a breath of fresh air as their child improves on numerous fitness tests, proving that this class works. Students will start class 1 with a fitness challenges that measures where each student is at. Then, throughout our 4 weeks together, we will improve on SMART Goals, set by the students. My personal experience is very unique and diverse in the realm of health, fitness and science. I am a current AP Biology and anatomy and physiology teacher. I am a former P.E. and weightlifting teacher/coach I am a current High School Football Coach. I am a former college football player and have coordinated and developed numerous sport-specific camps for elementary students K-6. I am a former Certified Athletic Trainer I am a former group fitness instructor and personal trainer. I received my B.S. in Athletic Training from Whitworth University. I completed 1,250 clinical hours in physical therapy clinics, collegiate, semi-professional and high school athletic training rooms, emergency rooms and urgent cares. I am currently completing my final course of my Master's in Secondary Education (Graduation - May 2020); emphasis in health, fitness and science.
Students will need access to a water bottle, an open space (a living room, backyard, etc.) and closed toed shoes. Warm up will be led by me at the beginning of class. Students are encouraged to stretch following the class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents should supervise their child to ensure that they are in a safe area and are performing the activities/movements within the workout correctly.
