Beginner - Advanced Level
In this 30-minute workshop, young children will learn the essential concepts of emotional resilience and coping strategies. The class will cover topics such as recognizing and naming different feelings, understanding the importance of emotional resilience, and discovering practical coping techniques to manage challenging situations. Students will engage in activities that promote self-awareness and self-regulation, laying a strong foundation for emotional well-being. My teaching style is interactive and hands-on, designed to keep young learners engaged and motivated. The class will include a mix of storytelling, games, and guided discussions that encourage participation and connection among the students. I will use visual aids and simple, relatable examples to explain key concepts, ensuring that the material is accessible and easy to understand. TOPICS: Recognizing and naming different feelings Understanding the importance of emotional resilience Exploring practical coping techniques for challenging situations Building self-awareness and self-regulation skills Sharing personal experiences related to emotions Engaging in role-playing scenarios to practice coping strategies Throughout the session, learners will have ample opportunities to interact with me and each other. They will participate in fun activities that allow them to practice the skills we discuss, such as role-playing different scenarios and sharing their thoughts on feelings and coping strategies. By fostering a supportive environment, I aim to help each child feel comfortable and empowered to express themselves, making the learning experience enjoyable and impactful.
