Media Ratings: Any movies or video clips shown will be rated "G" (General Audience) or "PG" (Parental Guidance). Parents are encouraged to review the content ahead of time if they have any concerns about specific themes or scenes.
Interactive Games: While participating in video games, some competitive elements may arise, and it's important to ensure that all participants are respectful and supportive of one another during gameplay.

Learner Supply List: Pokémon Trading Cards: Students are encouraged to bring their own Pokémon cards for trading and deck-building activities. Notebooks and Writing Utensils: A notebook and pen or pencil for jotting down notes, strategies, and ideas during discussions and activities. Art Supplies: Basic art supplies such as colored pencils, markers, or crayons for any art projects related to Pokémon. Access to Pokémon Games: If possible, having access to Pokémon video games on a personal device (Nintendo Switch, mobile device, etc.) will enhance the gameplay experience. Internet Connection: A stable internet connection to participate in online discussions, watch video clips, and access additional resources. Optional: Any Pokémon-themed merchandise, such as plush toys or figures, can be brought to class for sharing and discussion.
Teacher expertise and credentials
Over 25 years of experience in Pokémon gameplay, including extensive knowledge of various Pokémon video games, trading card games, and associated media.
Experience in competitive play, having participated in numerous Pokémon tournaments and gaining insights into effective strategies and gameplay mechanics.
Teaching experience as a paraprofessional in K-12 education, developing lesson plans and facilitating group activities, which has equipped me with skills to engage students and adapt to diverse learning needs.
