Students will learn advance level coding on Scratch Jr. Project 1: Snowman and the Bear In this project, students will learn to draw their own sprite, add a new sprite, add a background to the project and also make them move and say something. Project 2: Christmas decoration and carols In this project, students will add a Christmas tree and different ornaments and lights as sprites to decorate their Christmas tree. They will also learn to record and add the song : "We wish you a Merry Christmas" into their project and use the repeat block. Project 3: Find the present Students will make a game where they will use the show and hide block. And they will also apply forever block for the repetition of the scripts. Project 4: Seasons and festivals Students will code three pages together and turn them into a frame of sequence. Each page will represent a season and a related festival. Project 5: Maze Game - Save the gingerbread man In this project, students will create a maze game where they will use the message option to create functional arrow keys and use the camera to add gingerbread man as a sprite. Ideally a device for lesson and another one for project works best, however the teacher will teach on how to share the screen as well.

Note that newer versions of ScratchJr will only run on iOS 8+. It also runs on any Android tablet, 7-inches or larger, that are running Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean MR1) or higher. It does not need web-access to run.
