Class Experience

Join us for an exciting, interactive exploration of Christmas traditions from around the world! In this one-time private class, learners will have the chance to share their own family and country-specific traditions (feel free to bring photos or videos from previous celebrations!). We'll then embark on a global journey to discover how Christmas is celebrated in different countries.

Taught by a teacher who has traveled to over 95 countries, this class offers a unique and insightful look at worldwide holiday customs, all while staying fun and engaging for learners of all backgrounds. 🌍

💡 Key Highlights:

Interactive discussion: Learners are encouraged to share their personal traditions and experiences.
Global learning: We’ll explore a variety of Christmas customs, with a focus on geography and cultural diversity.
Nearpod Presentation: Visuals such as pictures and short videos will bring these global traditions to life. Learners will also participate in map activities, a special treat for geography lovers!
Kahoot Game: If we have enough participants, we’ll end with a fun Kahoot quiz to review and test what we’ve learned (optional, but super fun!).
✏️ What to Expect:

No prior knowledge is required, though learners should be comfortable with reading to participate in map searches and Kahoot.
The class will maintain a secular viewpoint, focusing on the cultural aspects of Christmas, without addressing or promoting any specific religious elements of the holiday.
✨ Bonus: If learners enjoy this class, they’re invited to join the ongoing "Let's Travel the World Together" class, where we explore a new country every week, learning geography, customs, and more.

🔗 Nearpod instructions and link will be shared in the classroom before class starts. Get ready for a festive world tour!

This is the perfect class for learners who love discovering new places, enjoy interactive learning, and want to experience Christmas in a whole new way! 🎅
