For this class we will be using an online editor so learners do not have to install python. However if they already have it installed then the teacher will teach on that.
In order to avoid installation of python and making it simple to use for all devices (including chromebooks), we would suggest parents to guide learners on creating a replit account.
Just for parents information : Replit is compliant with FERPA, COPPA, GDPR, CCPA, UK Data Protection Act of 2018, and many other privacy regulations. For learners younger than 13 years , we suggest you install python using instructions in the classroom as Outschool does not allow online editor for young learners.
