If you're new to programming, or if you want to update your skill set, Python is a great language to pick and is much in demand. It uses open libraries and is easy to learn and get started on text based coding. 

Lesson 1-Setting up Python - Using online editor vs offline editors, creating new files and saving it. Hello Python !

Lesson 2-Python Basics
We are going to take a look at a basic introduction to programming with the Python language.

Lesson 3- Python Variables
Understanding how variables are different in programming than in maths and the rules of variable nomenclature. 

Lesson 4-Input and Output
Understanding how input and output are different for strings and integers 

Lesson 5- and If...Then...Else
Basics of conditionals and understanding how to implement conditional statements in python programming .

Lesson 6-Loops
Students will learn on how to implement loops and the 2 king of loops in Python programming language.

Lesson 7- Collections
Understanding the 3 collection data types in python 

Lesson 8- Functions
Understanding functions with the classic example of the calculator 

Lesson 9- Error Handling
Try , except and finally block examples and understanding 

Lesson 10 – Review
A quick review to see what all we learnt till now before we head on to the final project

Lesson 11 – Final Project (2 days)
The students will create their own program from what they have learned throughout the class. Upon completion, the projects are demonstrated by their creators.

This is an interactive class where apart from coding alongside with the teacher, students will be asked to apply logical thinking and create a sample code for the output asked and share it with the teacher.
