In this class we will explore different types of trees often used as this holiday tradition. Christmas tree farming facts will be shared and we will discuss how Christmas trees (real & artificial) impact the environment.

Beginner - Intermediate Level
This class will introduce learners to some interesting facts about Christmas trees in an agricultural and environmental point of view. Slides and discussion will be the basis of the class with plenty of learner interaction. Topics covered will include; the difference between evergreen and deciduous trees, some fun facts about Christmas tree farming and types of trees grown to be sold as Christmas trees around the world. My experience in agriculture is vast, including attending university the agriculture and natural resources department. I have also had experience in tree farming as a family member did this for many years.
