This class will introduce learners to some interesting facts about Christmas trees in an agricultural and environmental point of view. Slides and discussion will be the basis of the class with plenty of learner interaction. Topics covered will include; the difference between evergreen and deciduous trees, some fun facts about Christmas tree farming and types of trees grown to be sold as Christmas trees around the world. We will also be discussing the impact that growing real and artificial trees have on the environment. Some carefully selected YouTube video links will be added to the classroom after class for learners will would like more information.
