1 hour per week. HOMEWORK (Class Cookbook) After each baking lesson, learners will be encouraged to take a picture of themselves with their recipe, print it out, and glue to a piece of paper. Here, they can write out the recipe and instructions, + give it a 1-5 star taste rating to remember what they thought! At the end of our flex class together, students will have 6 recipes in a homemade cookbook that they can continue adding to for years to come!Class Experience
In this Self-Paced course, young bakers will learn to create a new delicious, and fun dessert each week! Gluten, dairy, and nut-free options will always be available for those with dietary restrictions. Additional allergens may be present and are not guaranteed to have substitutions. Please reach out with alternative dietary needs outside of gluten, dairy, and nuts before enrolling! The goal of this class is to excite and educate learners on the basics of baking, and to help them feel comfortable navigating the kitchen, while gaining confidence in their baking skills. This class is suitable for all skill levels, as we will go through each step slowly, carefully discussing what we are doing along the way. CLASS BREAKDOWN Classes will begin with a check-off of all the ingredients and equipment needed for the week's recipe. This is to ensure each learner has all the necessary components for the recipe. We will then jump into the recipe, and make our way through each step, up until our completed recipe. At the end of class, students will encouraged to consider posting their finished product in our classroom page, and will be reminded to add this week's recipe to their homemade cookbook. Learners are always encouraged to reach out with any questions, in which I will happily reply with a personal message or video, helping the learner to achieve their goals. Additionally, bakers are encouraged (but not required) to post the pictures of their final product in our classroom page for the group to see! All ingredients and equipment needed will be posted in our classroom page the previous week before each lesson to provide time to prepare ingredients and equipment for the coming week.
