Class Experience

This ongoing course meets once per week to work on increasing the flexibility needed to excel in sports like cheerleading and gymnastics. Feel free to come and go as you please. This class is ideal for gymnasts or cheerleaders (or those interested in the sports) of all levels between the ages of 5-8.  There will be modifications to increase or decrease the difficulty of each stretch when applicable. 

Class will begin with a quick warm up to reduce the risk of over-stretching and injury, and then spend the rest of our time together stretching to increase flexibility, and range-of-motion. Students will work on hamstring, back, and shoulder flexibility, amongst much more. 




You should understand that when participating in any exercise or exercise program, there is the possibility of physical injury. If you decide to allow your child to engage in this class, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to your child, and agree to release and discharge the teacher (Madison Suttles) from any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown, arising out of this class.

Parental Guidance
As safety is of upmost importance in this class, parental guidance is highly recommended. If not properly supervised, the student risks sustaining injury during stretching. Learns should maintain sufficient space for stretching, free of any dangerous tables, corners, ledges, or other items. If practicing on a hard floor, a yoga mat or soft surface is needed for increased safety, and comfortability. Students should also bring a water bottle for proper hydration. You should understand that when participating in any exercise or exercise program, there is the possibility of physical injury.
