What will be taught: 
What is division 
The language of division, learning the terms: divide, dividend, divisor, quotient.
First day of class:
Learning how divide by one digit with no remainders.  
Learning how divide by one digit and carrying a remainders 
Word problems in division 
Second day of class:
Dividing by more than one digit number. 
Word problems in division 
Mean, median, and mode
Division applied to area measurement 
Students will be taught through slides, white board, lecture, discussion, and games to help the learner understand the lesson. 
There will be a work sheet provided to help student practice the math for the first day of class. 
Previous knowledge of multiplication.

Learning Goals

Students will understand how to divide one , two or more digits. Students will understand how to solve word problems that have division, and learn terms used in division. Students will learn how to problem solve the division problems.

Parental Guidance
Parental guidance is helpful in case of technical difficulty or help for logging on to the zoom. Students do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. They do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
