In these ongoing weekly classes students will learn and memorize their division facts (0-12). These lessons are all Minecraft themed! STUDENTS DO NOT PLAY THE MINECRAFT GAME IN THIS CLASS. Students will play Kahoot each week to practice their division facts. These classes are designed to be introductions, remedial, or extension lessons for students who have already mastered their multiplication facts and are ready to begin memorizing their division facts. I have over 10 years of experience teaching division one-on-one and in group discussions.

There is no required homework. Students are encouraged to practice their division facts outside of class using the Kahoot link I provide to enrolled students.

  3 files available upon enrollmentIn this class students will need to bring the following materials:

1. Division Facts Table
        * This will be sent to enrolled parents and can be found in the Outschool classroom

2. Multiplication Facts Table 
        *This will be sent to enrolled parents and can be found in the Outschool classroom

3. Kahoot Scores Card
        * This will be sent to enrolled parents  and can be found in the Outschool classroom

4. Second device to participate in Kahoot activity (tablet, iPad, phone)
          * A second device is not required but HIGHLY suggested.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Kahoot

There is no formal assessment for this class. Students progress will be assessed throughout the lesson by answering questions out loud individually or as a group. Students knowledge of their division facts can be gauged through playing the Kahoot game in and outside class.

45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.

Students in this class will be using the website Kahoot. Kahoot will be used for students to be able to submit their answers to math questions in the lesson independently. Kahoot can be accessed using the link (https://kahoot.it/). No download is needed to use Kahoot in class and it is free. Kahoot is an approved third-party website/app by Outschool.

We will use the Kahoot website/app in class to practice answering division questions. Kahoot is an approved website by Outschool.
