What will be taught: Students learn the rules of the present tense verb. Students learn how and when to add -es to a verb. Students will understand how to use the rules of present tense verbs with singular subjects. Student will practice sentences and correct the form of the verb in sentences. Students will write sentences practicing present tense verb. Students will have a challenge writing activity about a subject and use the rules they learned on present tense. How will the lesson be taught: Nearpod, doc cam, student engagement, discussion. Some back ground knowledge is helpful on verbs.

Parental Guidance
Parental guidance is helpful in case of technical difficulty or help for logging on to the zoom. Students do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. They do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
