Students learn what are the action words in a sentences, or verbs. Students learn their uses of what the subject does. Students will also do a challenge writing activity learning to use action verb. Students will learn direct object, and main verbs and helping verbs in this lesson. Students will learn which verbs help and which verbs tell action in sentences and phrases. Students will read a paragraph of a short story and tell which are the helping verbs. Students will also write a writing wrap up about a topic using five sentences in the paragraph and describe the verbs used. Students taking this class should of already learned the predicate and subject of a sentences. Some worksheets will be provided, slides, discussion, some writing, what ever helps the students to understand the lesson.

Parental Guidance
Parental guidance is helpful in case of technical difficulty or help for logging on to the zoom. Students do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. They do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
