US Grade 4 - 7
This class is best for students who have done long division before as this is not an introductory division class. Students will review and practice the step by step instructions for dividing 2-digit long division problems. They will observe the teacher modeling these steps and completing some examples. They will then have the opportunity to complete some long division problems with the teacher. They will then practice solving long division problems on their own with the help of the instructor. The problems will be dividing a two-digit number by 3 and 4 digit numbers with or without remainders. They will also review the vocabulary dividend, divisor, and quotient for the division.

Hello everyone! Welcome to Outschool!
My name is Ms. Julie and I'm excited to meet you! I teach Reading, Math, Writing, ESL (English As a Second Language), and other subjects too. I've been an educator and teaching for over 20 years in both brick-and-mortar and online. When I'm not teaching, I can often be found tutoring online or in person. My experience includes working with preschool to high school students with a lot of my experience with elementary and middle school age groups. I have an elementary education K-6 grade license as well as a math 5-8 license and a K-12 ESL (English As a Second Language) License. I have taught ESL (English as a Second Language) for many years also. My masters in reading has been a great resource as well.
Every student can learn and I believe we all learn in different ways. I love to have fun while learning! When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time outside with my furry friend or time with family and friends.
