In this highly interactive class , students get to learn about short division and long division and practice them through worksheets and games. The lesson plan is as follows : Day 1: Division introduction and facts : Understanding division vocabulary like quotient , divisor etc and repeated subtraction. Day 2 : Division without remainders : Recalling the multiplication facts and learning about division without remainders Day 3: Division with remainders : Understanding remainders and lot of practice on short division with remainders. Day 4 : Division word problems : Figuring out what words help us understand division application Day 5 : Long Division : Understanding long division and practicing with the teacher Day 6 : Revision We will play games on the lesson and each child will get ample of opportunity to practice in a fun way. The worksheets will also be done in class to ensure that students have understood the concept of division. Teacher will ask questions as we learn the concepts through demonstration, fun videos, songs and games. Students will practice on word problems too to build a strong foundation and understanding of division and repeated subtraction.
