Because art has so much to it, it can often be difficult to understand the art you're looking at, as well as how to make the art that you want to! Learners will gain a further understanding of the different elements of art, principles of design, and other art fundamentals each week, allowing them to talk about and create art in a more informed manner.
Art is a lifelong passion, and my journey with art started in middle school. I have worked in many different media, but my favorites are sketching, drawing, and photography. I’ve been keeping sketchbooks for nearly 20 years, and they’ve helped me document my journey with art, as well as important milestones in my life. I want to help learners find their artistic passion and help them do the same.
Students will need the following supplies to participate in class: - Blank paper - Pencil and eraser - Art supplies like colored pencils and crayons
