Class Experience

This class is designed for dedicated art students who want to take their Art to the next level.
This One on One class will lead the student into what I am calling (Art Project 1), here is a break down of each week.
In the next 12 weeks, the Artist will embark on an Art Project to take their Top 6 Favorite Art pieces that they have created in the past and redo them using emphasis of different artists and their art styles. This project will expose the student to other unique art styles while exposing them to various art techniques that they have never tried before.
I design the classes to meet the needs and challenge the young artist.

Week One: Thursday 1/26/23 : Student will choose their Top 10 favorite drawings. We will be looking at these pieces and putting them in order of most favorite to least favorite 1-10. We will then choose the Top 6 drawings. Starting with #6 we will begin to reconstruct and redo the art piece.
Week Two: Thursday 2/2/23: Student will continue on to complete the #6 Art piece
Week Three: Thursday: 2/9/23: student will choose the #5 Art Piece to reconstruct and redo
Week Four: Thursday: 2/16/23: student will use this class time towards completion of the #5 Art Piece
Week Five: Thursday: 2/23/23: student will choose the #4 Art Piece to reconstruct and redo
Week Six: Thursday: 3/2/23: student will work towards completion of the #4 Art Piece
Week Seven: Thursday: 3/9/23: student will choose the #3 Art Piece to reconstruct and redo
Week Eight: Thursday: 3/16/23: student will use this class time towards completion of the #3 Art Piece
Week Nine: Thursday: 3/23/23: student will choose the #2 Art Piece to reconstruct and redo
Week Ten: Thursday: 3/30/23: student will work towards completion of the #2 Art Piece
Week Eleven: Thursday: 4/6/23: student will choose the #1 Art Piece to reconstruct and redo
Week Twelve: Thursday: 4/13/23: student will work towards completion of her favorite Art Piece
Art Supplies will be listed in the Class Materials section. There are some inexpensive art materials I would like each student to have for this class.

Other Details

Parental Guidance
This class will be using (2) Third Party Tools such as Canva and YouTube. Both tools will be used to access images of artwork and for reviewing other artists art styles through the Screen Share feature on Zoom. There will be no account required for either Canva or YouTube.
Supply List
I would like the art student to have access to the following Supplies: Cold Press Watercolor Paper, there are many good brands reasonably priced. I use 11x15 because I like to work on a larger surface, but the student may prefer 9"x12".
White Card Stock paper is more sturdy than most drawing paper. I highly recommend it, it lasts and it's cheap.
PaperMate Flair Medium Black Felt Tip Pens or any set of Thin Tip pens. (Sharpies not recommended)
I want the student to experience Mixed Media. They may like markers but if they had Watercolor paint that would be great. There are Watercolor Brush Pen Sets for $11-13.00 on Amazon. (This is just a suggestion.)
She will need a good set of Colored pencils. Crayola Brand is $11.13 for a set of 50. Soucolor Brand is $19.99 for a set, on Amazon.com. Prismacolor are a better brand but more expensive. One small 24 set is $20.47.
One pad of Artists Tracing Paper ( 9"x12") is needed for this class. (Bachmore) brand is about $10.99 on Amazon
You may already have these supplies, if so please don't purchase more unless you want to. It's okay if you don't have everything on the list.
