It"s time for art! This elementary art class will allow for creative growth, experimentation with art supplies and introductions to artists, art history, movements and cultures. It is an interactive ongoing class! The class will begin with a welcome and introduction before we dive into the project of the day. All neccessary materials will be reviewed and questions answered before we start working. While I will have a camera on my work, highlighting steps and progress students are encouraged to venture off and make their own creative choices! All questions will be answered along the way. Towards the end of class we will have a sharing time. Positive discussion is encouraged. Critique is a valuable step during the art process. Students may better understand their work, relate to others and be inspired! As each week involves a different project with various art materials, a message with specific materials will be posted in the classroom before the class. Class length may vary by a few minutes depending on the materials used.
