If so, this course is tailor-made to empower children to better navigate their emotions and develop essential mindfulness techniques for daily use. As a mindfulness coach with a decade of experience supporting kids and teens, I specialize in guiding kids through a variety of mindfulness techniques designed to boost their focus, strengthen self-regulation, cultivate empathy, and navigate challenging situations with confidence. Together, we’ll work on empowering you to respond thoughtfully rather than react impulsively, helping you build skills for lifelong emotional resilience and self-awareness. Over the years of teaching mindfulness to students, I have witnessed profound transformations in children. Through mindfulness, they develop the ability to pause, reflect, and respond thoughtfully. For me, mindfulness is more than just sitting quietly; it's about being fully present in every aspect of life. That's why I teach mindfulness in a fun and engaging manner, ensuring kids can easily integrate these tools into their lives. Mindfulness practices cultivate a mindset primed for learning, teaching children to focus their attention effectively. They'll develop improved concentration, emotional regulation skills, and the ability to find calm in challenging situations. No prior experience is necessary to embark on this mindfulness journey. At the end of each session, students receive a weekly challenge to apply what they've learned and share their experiences. Through reflection, they become more aware of their progress and the impact of their mindfulness practice."

Students will learn to increase their focus and concentration. They will learn to be kinder to themselves & to each other.
They will learn to take a pause and calm themselves down when they are sad, angry, frustrated, or encountering any strong emotions.
They will learn the techniques to manage their emotions better and build up the space to respond wisely instead of reacting blindly.

Introduction to Mindfulness, Mindful listening & breathing
Hi everyone and welcome to my Mindfulness self-paced class. Today I talk about what is Mindfulness and how can it be helpful in your life. Next, we learn Mindful listening, Mindful breathing & anchor, and do a guided practice for each. Then we practice ball/hand breathing for a few minutes. Next, we do some breathing exercises, Alligator, Butterfly & tulip breathing. In the end, you will get the home practice for the week. A video of the session will be provided.

Mindful breathing and Sending kind wishes to ourselves and other.
Today we practice Mindful listening & breathing for a few minutes. Then we practice breathing with the Ball/hand. Next, we learn Heartfulness, sending kind thoughts to ourselves and others, and do a guided practice for a few minutes. Then we do some breathing exercises, Alligator, Butterfly, Dolphin, Elevator & tulip breathing. In the end, you will get the challenge/ practice for the week. A video of the session will be provided.

Mindful Bodies, Body Awareness, Body Scan
Today first we practice Mindful breathing & Sending love for a few minutes. Then we practice Finger breathing. Next, we learn body awareness, notice the sensations in the body, and practice a full Body Scan for a few minutes. Then we do some breathing exercises, Alligator, Butterfly, dolphin, Spiderman & tulip breathing. Next, we do a special star body scan together. In the end, you will get the home practice for the week. A video of the session will be provided.

Mindfulness of Thoughts and Emotions
Today first we practice Mindful breathing & being Calm for a few minutes. Next, we learn Mindfulness of Emotions & Thoughts and do a guided practice for naming emotions. Then we practice with a few emojis to understand the effect of emotions on our bodies better. Next, we breathe with the Glitter Globet. In the end, we do a review of what we have learned in these four weeks and talk about future regular daily practices. A video of the session will be provided.

I am a certified mindfulness instructor with over 10 years of experience teaching mindfulness techniques to kids and teens. I have taught mindfulness in a variety of settings, including schools, online via Zoom, and here at Outschool. I have also taught live classes for over 7 years. My goal is to help students understand and manage their emotions, stay focused and present in the moment, and become more aware of themselves and others. This awareness will help them make informed decisions.
