Welcome to crafting with yarn. Join us as we craft an adorable fall gnome. No knitting experience needed as we will not be knitting but instead crafting with yarn. This gnome is a little more technical than my basic gnome class. I will be crafting along with the learners to show them each step as we go. We will be using a toilet paper roll as a base for the hat. The beard will be formed by making a basic pom-pom out of yarn. We will make feet using yarn and a kitchen fork. Your learner can get creative by picking something round for the gnome's nose. Puff balls, beads or wooden balls are great options for the nose of the gnome. This class will be socially interactive and completely hands on. This will be a fun time for learners to use their creativity. A small fall flower is optional to glue on the hat and they can be found at the dollar store in the fall section. *We will be using a hot glue gun. Using a needle nose plyer with help the student glue without getting burned. **Thin yarn is needed for success in this craft.
