Class Experience

Let's bake Banana Bread Muffins!
In this one-time class, we will be making 12 delicious banana bread muffins. Students are encouraged to have fun being together and baking while also listening and following directions. I will encourage students to talk and ask questions. I will be cooking along with the students. I will give step-by-step instructions. Students will learn how to measure and mix along with learning the importance of mixing dry ingredients and wet ingredients.

Class will start with introductions. We will then review all utensils and ingredients needed to make sure students have everything they need. After everything is confirmed, we will move along to measuring and mixing the ingredients. We will have the oven preheated and ready to bake but the actual baking and eating portion will be completed after class is over.

**Students need to know how to crack eggs** I will teach proper hygiene when using eggs during class.

I will post the ingredients in the Outschool classroom after your learner is signed up for class. I look forward to baking with your learner.

Hello!! Welcome to my classroom! My name is Ms. Jill and I am very excited to teach your learner. I am a mom of 2 boys, two dogs and a bunny. I have a passion for teaching and love to make learning fun. My favorite topics to teach include math, science, and crafting. If I'm not at the baseball park watching one of my boys playing baseball, which it pretty much a majority of my evenings and weekends, I love reading, gardening, crafting, and learning.

I have over 3 years of teaching experience online teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) to children all over the world. I earned the TESOL certificate while working as an ESL teacher. I was a homeschooling mom to both my boys for a little over 4 years and taught all subjects in grades 2 through 7. I earned my bachelor's degree in Business Administration

I am so excited to teach your learner many new things while having a great time in the classroom together.
