Did you know certain fruits and vegetables actually look like the body part they support? Very cool, right? In this one-time class, we will be looking at carrots, grapes, bananas, celery, tomatoes, red onions, sweet potatoes, walnuts along with a few more. We will analyze what body part each specific food looks like and how exactly each of these foods support that specific body part along with the rest of the body. We will play a fun game on, guess what body part you think. Students will then learn about each one and dive deeper into the reasons why. Students will learn about the vitamins and minerals each food provides for the body along with certain diseases these can help prevent. Food plays such a vital role in our overall health and wellbeing. This is a very interesting class to introduce this importance and how cool the human body actually is. This class will be very informative and we will cover a lot of information. I will allow plenty of time for students to ask questions and talk. I will provide a handout for students to print and bring to class to fill in as they learn.
