Welcome to Ms. Tinca’s studio! Lessons are flexible, fun and they focus on the music you love! Are you a beginner with no experience? I will give you all the tools you need to start your musical journey. Do you have a few years of experience playing the violin or other musical instruments? We will build on your knowledge and work together to reach your goals. Having a foundation in classical technique is important, but we will also have fun learning songs and pieces that inspire you! Homework Offered
I advise my students to practice for 10-15 minutes every day. The practice time is dependent on the student's age and level.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
There are semester class recitals in December and in May where students are encouraged to participate and play pieces that they learned during the semester.Grades Offered
Students will need a violin, bow, and accessories, such as shoulder-rest, and rosin! Music will be shared on screen for the first class. After the initial trial lesson, I will recommend the book(s) from which we will work. Please contact me if you have questions about the materials needed for the first class.
