Class Experience
This class is a continuation of The Young Flute Player books. Students should have completed The Young Flute Player, Book 1 before moving to this class. The Young Flute Player, Book II, Part I Week 1 - Unit 1 - F Major/G Major scale; exercises with dynamics Week 2 - Unit 2 - New Note G-sharp; A minor harmonic and melodic scale with arpeggio; more dynamic practice; Bach Minuet Week 3 - Unit 3 - Slur/legato practice; The Ash Grove and Schumann Humming Song; musical puzzles Week 4 - Unit 4...
Students will learn harmonic and melodic scales, high notes, extended scales and many new pieces.
Students should practice between 4 and 5 times weekly
