Profile
Teacher expertise and credentials
In addition to having my Bachelor of Arts in Music, I have been playing the flute for over 30 years. For the last 21 years, I have worked as a pit musician for a local theater company in my area. I spent 15 years as an elementary and middle school band director and have offered private instruction in flute, clarinet and saxophone for over 20 years. Many of my students have participated in local and regional honor bands. In 2004, I performed in Carnegie Hall in New York City, as a member of a Wind Ensemble, playing both principal flute and piccolo.

As a professional teacher, I have a Master of Arts in Elementary Education, a Master of Educational Technology and an Education Specialist degree (Ed.S.) in Educational Technology. I hold certificates in both Online Teaching and School Technology Coordination. I currently work as a TK-12 Educator and have been in the classroom for 22 years.

I love music and I love seeing students learn a new instrument. I look forward to working with your student!
