In this one time class, learners will receive the foundational skills to be a successful flutist. We will assemble the flute, learn to hold the flute, make the initial sound, play our first notes, then disassemble and clean the instrument.

In this 55 minute class, students will learn how to confidently assemble, disassemble and clean the flute, hold the flute, make the first sound, and play three notes (G, A, and B). I have started hundreds of beginning students on the flute, and I feel that this solid foundation is a huge advantage to a successful lifetime of playing.
